Repair services are back!

For over 15 years, Alpine Threadworks repaired technical outdoor equipment for thousands of customers, MEC Calgary, Lake Louise Ski Patrol, and outdoor companies across Western Canada.

Those years spent repairing gear taught us what works, what fails, and why.

Every broken seam, failed zipper, and damaged attachment point helped shape the way we design and build our own packs, duffels, and technical equipment. Repair work gave us a deep understanding of materials, construction techniques, and the demands placed on gear in the real world.

How it works

1. Fill out our Repair Form

Tell us what's wrong with your gear and, where possible, include photos of the damage.

2. We'll review your request

We'll review your repair and either issue you a repair number or let you know if we can't take it on.

If we can help, along with your repair number, we'll include instructions for NW Calgary drop-off or mailing your item to us and a quote.

3. We'll repair it

Alpine Threadworks accepts outdoor and industrial sewing repairs including:

• Packs & duffels
• Zipper replacements (on packs/duffels/tents - not jackets/clothing)
• Tents and shelters
• Webbing/buckles
• Dog leashes
• Other outdoor/industrial equipment

We do not currently accept:

• Clothing, jackets or pants
• Structural safety equipment such as climbing harnesses
• Items with non-removable hard frames, such as golf bags
