Neil Warren here, I'm the owner, designer and main craftsman. Yes, I'll be personally making your pack!
I started Alpine Threadworks in 2004 out of a love for working with my hands and not being able to find the gear I wanted for my mountain pursuits.
I grew up in Cochrane, Alberta and currently live in Calgary with my wife and 2 young children, Nora and Levi. Spring/summer/fall Alpine Threadworks is my sole focus. In the winter, I also work as an ACMG Ski Guide. Alpine Threadworks most definitely still operates in the winter, things might be out of stock for a bit longer. If you can add a product to your cart, that means it's physically on hand and ready to ship out. When I'm not sewing nor ski guiding, I love spending time with my kids Nora & Levi, mountain biking as much as possible, trail building, gravel riding, gardening, strength & endurance training and eating good food. Handcrafting simple, durable and functional gear is deeply rewarding; I love imagining all the adventures my 'soldiers' will go on. Thanks for your interest in Alpine Threadworks!
